Class details are listed on my sidebar. I added the flowers to show how big the inside is. It's great to hold your mail, craft tools, cards, lots of things! Makes a great gift too! Come join me in the fun...

Isn't this the cutest thing? It's the soon to be available Matchobx Die and the current SAB DSP with white grosgrain ribbon for the pulls. I just stacked 3 boxes and made a backing with a top and bottom cover from one piece of cs. The striped dsp covers the seams on the sides. Both of kids want me to make one for them.
I love this die!! You can get one starting 4/1 from the Occasions Mini but the Sale A Bration DSP - and other free items will only be available til 3/31!

During economically challenging times, most of us tighten our budgets. Some expenditures that were once comfortable might now stretch a budget thin. We don't want anyone's efforts to budget wisely to become a barrier to joining Stampin' Up, especially considering the wonderful benefits--personal and economical--being a demonstrator can bring. This is why Stampin' Up! has announced that you can become a demonstrator now, for a limited time, on an Easy Payment Plan. To do this, you must fill out the paperwork with me and it must be received by Stampin' Up! no later than March 31st.
The Starter Kit is valued at more than $335 and is regularly priced at $199--but during Sale-A-Bration, you'll get the entire, customizable Starter Kit for only $169! If you're concerned about the up-front cost of the Starter Kit, the Three Easy Payments option, available for a limited time, is just what you need. With just one partial initial payment, you can get your Starter Kit right away and get your business up and running. Two subsequent monthly payments will take care of the rest.
Payments Breakdown for the Sale-A-Bration Starter Kit Price (March 13-31, 2009)
Payment 1 (charged at time kit is entered) $56.34 (+ sales tax)
Payment 2 (charged around April 15th) $56.33
Payment 3 (charged around May 15th) $56.33
Total Payment $169.00
But the three-payment plan in conjunction with Sale-a-bration (and my personal incentives) is only available until March 31, and this is not available online, so all paperwork must be mailed and received by Stampin' Up! before time runs out. If you are local, long-distance, whatever! join me in doing something you'll love!
As always, please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns.
I'd love to have you on my team!
Another perk of being a demonstrator is getting to pre-order things and look what I got!!! It's a new Matchbook Die for the Big Shot and I love it!!! Here are 2 little boxes I made. Aren't they super cute?? One uses the Free SAB paper and ribbon and the other is the DSP Rockabilly Specialty with wide red grograin ribbon. Get this -the bottom part doesn't need any adhesive! Just one line for the cover. I forgot to include the cute tags it also makes and I even made another cute project with it already- so I'll get those posted soon.

Red Roses

So, I'm really intrigued by the whole coloring with Copics thing. I love the look with no lines and the shading but I'm not sure it's worth it. Those darn markers are expensive and then I'd probably need to take a class. I was able to get 5 of them to try them out recently but then didn't have the right inkpad to stamp my image! I finally got Memento ink today and have to say I like the inkpad - a true black and it doesn't bleed. I used the markers I had to color the rose image (hostess level 1 set) and it turned out OK, but I think I could've done the same thing with SU! markers and a blender pen. I'll have to test that out.
Anywho - I layered my image on Real Red and used the eyelet border punch at the bottom. My white layer is embossed with the Swiss Dots CB folder and I wrapped a knotted piece of wide red ribbon across it. I like the way it came out. Simple but nice and can be used for lots of occassions.

Easter Wishes

Here's a quick Easter card. I used the Scalloped Oval Frame Die with WWhite and the SAB Free Designer Paper along with Bashful Blue card base and White 5/8" grosgrain ribbon. I embossed the greeting in white and then sponged So Saffron around it. (I was going for a dyed Easter egg look .) I really like those Big Shot Dies. I actually got this one thinking it was a good size for pictures, but it works well for other things too. I have more dies on the way - can't wait! Have you gotten your Free SAB stuff yet?
