Well, here's what I've been busy doing lately - swimming with the kids. I have 2 "fish" that love the water!

The other thing is drooling over the NEW CATALOG! Yes, I have them! and they are awesome! I really like some of the changes they made and am loving the new accessories! I keep going over it and changing what I'll get on my first order. Here's some things to look forward to:

Textured Card Stock
35 Punches
New Designer Series Paper
New Kits
New Scrappin' Kits
New Brads
New Brass Templates
New Ribbons

and of course, the 6 new colors! I'll have more for you later... : )

Jumbo Clips

These are so easy and fun to make! I saw them a while back, but just getting to make some myself now. Want some? I'm thinking of giving these away with new catalog orders at my Open House. : )

Jumbo clips were found at Wal-Mart in the office section. I used In the Spotlight for the first 2 and the Cuttlebug with the Palette of Prints designer paper on the third. The friend one uses 3 different circle punches. The 2 flowers have one of the new rhinestone brads in the middle - love those! Also used 3 of the new SU! In Colors: Groovy Guava, Wild Wasabi and Bayou Blue. The matching ribbon? Just used the trick of running the white grosgrain through the ink pads and voila! All three are attached to a punched out chipboard circle in the back with dimensionals.

No new catty yet, but...

A few lucky CA demos received a copy of the New SU! catalog and gave some info on Splicoast Stampers. Some of the items on the discontinued accessories list will still be available, such as the paper and some of the ribbons, just repackaged and a different price. Actually, there is a slight price increase to most of their products, so you've got less than a week to get anything you need at the current price! Sneak Peek

I absolutely love the new Baroque Motifs stamp set SU! has coming out! I just started to play with it, so I'm sure there will me more to come.

This one is on a Bashful Blue card base, US White with corners notched out using the 1/4" hole punch trick, and the big flourish stamped in Bashful Blue. I added the little flowers in Sage Shadow - which is not one of my favorite colors, but I like it with this. It needed a little something else, so I added a some bling with 3mm rhinestones in the flower centers. I used the Quickie glue pen to adhere them - worked great!

Sneak Peak Swap Card

Here's a card for a swap I joined using the new Fall-Winter Preview sets. My assigned set was Hugs & Wishes and since the other sets were being used, I thought I'd also use a new Hostess Set, In The Spotlight. Cardstock colors are the new Purely Pomegranate (love it!), Barely Banana, and the new Wild Wasabi. Ink is Purely Pomegranate and Wild Wasabi. The set lends itself wonderfully to paper peircing, so I added that down the left side and on the corners of the greeting. The Pastel brads in the center of the flowers finishes it off. What do ya think?

Natural Beauty

OK, after some password issues, I'm now able to post again. : )

Here's a card I made for a friend who's grandmother passed away. I used the retiring set

Natural Beauty and SU's Prep School ribbon. Colors are Mellow Moss, Not Quite Navy and Baroque Burgundy. I colored in the image using markers and a blender pen. You can't tell but I also sponged around it in the Mellow Moss to tone down the remaining white space.
