A few things for ya...

Time has flown for me lately - I feel like I lost a week somewhere. I was able to get a few new stamping things in though. I love how this Father's Day Wallet came out. I saw the idea a while ago and then Dannie Graves put a tutorial on her blog for it, which reminded me that I wanted to make one. I changed mine a little from hers, though. I used Close to Cocoa CS and ink. Sentiment is from All Holidays on Vanilla, then Choc. Chip. All pieces are wheeled using Rough Texture in Close to Cocoa and then sponged in the same. Using the piercing guide I just used the fine tip of my Choc. Chip marker to do the faux stitching. Inside there's a strip 2" high that's just glued with Multi on the sides to create 2 pockets. I figured one side with a gift card or picture and the other for my note. I have to find that saying about a true father has pictures where his money used to be or something close to that. Wouldn't that be perfect? I did take a pic of the inside for you but it came out too blurry. Let me know if you want that visual.

OK, next is the first of 2 cards I've been wanting to make for a while as well. Lauren Meader came up with this brilliant idea for a onesie card and Nancy Morgan totally inspired me with a dress version. So, here's my dress card in pink with the flower from Time Well Spent. There's a rhinestone brad the middle of the cut out flower. The "neck" is half of a 1 3/8" circle punch and the scallop punch - love that!

Then here's my onesie for a boy. You can do the scallop punch trim for the legs but I thought it was a little too girly this time. The stamp is from SAB's So Many Scallops and I sponged the edges in Bashful Blue. Aren't they the cutest? They were fun to make too. I'm planning on making more of these for my craft table on Sat. Hopefully lots of people will like them as much as I do.
